All media received goes through an extensive analysis to determine the drive's condition and its recording media.
We will determine whether the problems are logical (software structures), Electrical/Firmware or Mechanical. or all three.
Diagnostic Phase 1 - Involves inspections of external housing and circuit board.
Diagnostic Phase 2 - Involves testing the circuit components, drive motor, and the pre-amp.
Diagnostic Phase 3 - Involves inspecting the read and write heads and disc surface inside our Class 5 cleanroom. Testing the service adaptive and donor matching and testing.
The evaluation is free of charge, and the evaluation process usually takes 1-3 business days. The diagnostic process depends on the condition of the media, make, and model. Hard Drive, like Seagate drives, which accounts for at least 75% of the failures, is the most complicated drive for diagnostic and recovery. Hard Drives who have physical and mechanical issues need a customized diagnostic procedure to determine what recovery method will be utilized.
At Truedata Recovery Solutions, our costs are determined by the failure and storage capacity of the device and the extent of the damage. You will not be charged by the hour like other hard drive data recovery company, and our pricing is 100% transparent. We will evaluate your device for free, and we'll let you know the exact cost to recover your data. Submit a recovery case here.
Truedata operates under the highest level of security protocols in the data recovery industry. Customer privacy and confidentiality are our number one priority. All our data recovery equipment is offline, and all recovery is encrypted on our vault servers.
Standard Services has a minimum of 7-14 business days procedures; however, the reality is every drive is unique, and recovery methods are always needed to be customized to the problem and damaged of the hard drive. We also offer expedited services that require an additional fee. Each service time is an estimate, and it's important to keep in mind that some cases may require more or less time. We cannot guarantee the turn-around time of each recovery. But we can guarantee that we will work on your expedited recovery non-stop over the weekends, holidays, and after business hours until we have the final results.
We accept Visa, Mastercard, Debit, E-transfer, Company check, and in some cases, a P.O may be accepted. We do not accept cash for payment.
1. Immediately remove the power from the hard drive or power off the laptop.
2. Confirm if you have any useful data backups before trying to turn on the device.
3. Don't attempt hard drive recovery via software.
4. Don't fix the dropped hard drive on your own.
5. Don't bring your hard drive to a computer repair shop as most of the time, they will try to power on the device and try to recover via software. This will only add more damage to its current state.
6. Call a data recovery company. We can provide you with the proper processing method.
The Client's storage media may be opened within an ISO 5 cleanroom environment. The Client should consult their individual manufacturer for specific warranty information on their storage media. Under no circumstances shall Truedata Recovery Solutions be held liable for voided warranties by the storage media manufacturer.
The Client acknowledges and agrees that the diagnostic procedure is neither foolproof nor perfect. Although the diagnosis provided by Truedata Recovery Solutions may indicate a strong probability of a successful recovery outcome, this assessment cannot guarantee any specific result. No warranty is stated or implied regarding the accuracy or timeliness of the assessment. Truedata Recovery Solutions shall have the exclusive professional determination of the diagnostic evaluation and the possible success rate at its sole discretion. Truedata Recovery Solutions agrees to use all available resources and technology to attempt the diagnostic procedure.
External hard drive enclosures will need to be disassembled to diagnose and/or recover data. It may be necessary to break or damage the device enclosures to access the internal storage media. Truedata Recovery Solutions will dispose of the external enclosures, power adapters, data transfer cables, and other similar accessories at its discretion.
Devices such as iPhones, iPads, Android phones and tablets, netbooks, notebooks, laptops, and other similar devices will need to be opened to access the underlying storage media. Upon completion of Truedata Recovery Solutions' assessment of the Client's storage media, Truedata will provide a quotation for the recommended data recovery procedures. This quotation may be provided in writing, electronically by email, or verbally over the phone. Donor parts, expedited or emergency fees, and final destination transfer media are separate from the data recovery fees.
If the Client elects to proceed with the data recovery process, they must approve and authorize those services subject to a separate written Service Agreement before Truedata will perform any additional work. If the Client chooses not to proceed with the data recovery process, they must complete the cancellation form.
